Origin of Seitai

HARUCHIKA NOGUCHI

Being only a teenager and endowed with exceptional ability, he dedicated himself to caring for people’s health through the intuition of his hands.

Along with this empirical and intuitive work, and driven by the need to understand human nature and its spontaneous manifestation, he studied intensely the traditional therapies of the East, as well as the new knowledge of Western science that had just arrived in Japan.

Despite this, he did not find an adequate answer to what he felt, and guided by his own work, he came to discover what he called the Structure of Spontaneous Movement:

  • The five movements and the balancing desire of life in + and – (tension and relaxation).

  • The absolute interdependence of movement with biological and psychic activity and how it structures itself precisely and concretely in the organism.

In 1957 he founded the Seitai Society, achieving institutional recognition as a cultural activity.

KATSUMI MAMINE MIWA

Katsumi Mamine contacted Haruchika Noguchi from a very young age. For 15 years he lived close to his teachings, collaborating in the origins of the Seitai Society of Japan.

In 1972 he began Seitai activity in Barcelona to transmit the knowledge of this education and care for the health of many people.

Along with this, he carried out research and observation work on the movement of life in the human being, always from respect and trust in the intelligence of the organism.

His exploration was a constant combination between study and experiences, both personal and professional.

The notable experience he had accompanying diverse processes allowed him to verify and communicate the value of the Seitai Orientation approach.

Until the last moment he continued refining and expanding his research, always based on Noguchi’s original approach.
